Become a Mentor FAQ

1. What does it take to be a mentor? A Christian woman who could be a friend to a teen mom. Attend one meeting and activity per month. Willing to make a one year commitment to a teen mother. Pray for Teen Mom Connection. 2. Will you get any training? Yes, you will receive some training during orientation.  Also, you will always have the support of the director and other mentors.

3. What type of girls want a mentor? Through a filtered screening process,  this program mainly receives girls who have found themselves in difficult situations.   They mainly are looking for someone to care about them and show them love, support, and guidance. 4. Are mentors required to help their teen mother financially? Good question!! That is not the intent of this program.   Teen Mom Connection does have some emergency funds.
